This fossil of a trilobite dates back over 600 million years ago to the Cambrian period. Trilobites were segmented arthropod-type creatures that dwelled in prehistoric oceans. This particular fossil is a whole trilobite that is free from any surrounding rock, allowing the entirety of the creature's structure to be visible.
